Driven by a strong interest in building user-friendly and engaging online experiences, I've gained practical experience in creating websites through a combination of self-study, online courses, and hands-on projects. I graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2019 and moved to the Portland, Oregon area in 2023.
For nearly two years, I've worked as a freelance web developer, delivering solutions that meet client needs, prioritize user experience, and consistently meet project deadlines. I'm eager to contribute my skills and enthusiasm to a dynamic team in the web development field.
Here is some of the recent work that I am most proud of. I'm passionate about building user-friendly and engaging online experiences, and I'm always eager to learn and grow as a developer.
Astro
SEO
I revamped this Cincinnati-based golf professional's website to help him advertise his lesson packages and children’s summer camp. I ensured that his new site was fast, easy to navigate, and met current SEO standards. I implemented Google Analytics to help the client track how many visitors his site gets.
Wordpress
Ecommerce
This Indiana car restoration enthusiast partnered with car parts distribution companies to sell their products. I created a custom categorization system, REST endpoint, and dynamic form on the frontend for customers to sort products by year, make, and model. The current site is in its initial phase with plans to expand in the future.
Wordpress
ACF
I have been maintaining this non-profit organization’s site, which includes WordPress core & plugin updates, new features, Google Analytics assistance, and monitoring Google Search Console alerts. This site currently uses a custom hybrid theme with PHP templates and Advanced Custom Fields.
Javascript
I created this bomb game to practice more with interactivity and JavaScript logic. Using Adobe Illustrator, I created my own SVG assets for the game and coded it with vanilla JavaScript. I had fun with this project and hope to create more complex browser-based games in the future.
